Monday morning. I am about to go to work but I am reading your emails and a lot of you are asking me a very similar question.
Omi, how do you find time to do so much every single week? How do you inspire yourself?’

So let me give you my first advice.

New Monday. New week. New goals.

Be decisive.

Make a decision and “go.” If you waffle back and forth on things, if you can’t make up your mind, you spend too much energy in analysis paralysis. You know this one, right? Analysis, paralysis.

Instead, decide on something that you want, and test it. Take action and test your results. The act of making a decision and taking action will build momentum, and ignite your fire.

Rather than trying to figure everything out up front, start taking action, test your path, and learn and adapt along the way.

The long story short: Be decisive.

Be comfortable in your own skin

Tuesday evening so let me give you my second advice. It’s amazing how many people go through life without ever realising that their feelings toward other people are largely determined by their feelings toward themselves.
And let me tell you something.

If you don’t like who you are if you are not comfortable within yourself you can’t be comfortable with others.

You just can’t.

Stress is real but we always have a choice

It’s Wednesday so I’m gonna give you my third advice for this week. Let’s talk about stress. But first, let’s agree on one thing. Most of the time when we are feeling stressed it’s not because we’ve got too much to do.

‘Oh, I’ve got too much to do.’

No, no, no, no.
Most f the time it’s because we haven’t finished something that we’ve started before.
With that in mind, every time you are feeling stressed I want you to ask yourself this simple question. Will this matter in 3 months from now? If yes, work on the problem. If no, let it go.

Do the most important thing first

It’s Thursday already so without trying to sound inspirational I wanna tell you that so far in my life I’ve realised that you can do anything. Yes, you can do anything you want. But you can’t do everything. Well, at least not at the same time. So in my opinion, to be successful in life you have to understand the difference between urgent and important.

And you must do what’s important first.

Focus on your goal

Friday morning, 6.30 or something. I am still in my pyjamas and I am sleeping. And I have to admit sometimes I struggle with Fridays. But hey it’s not about perfection, it’s about the effort. And when you bring this effort, the best of you, every single day this is where transformation happens.
Basically, focus on your goal. Don’t look in any direction but ahead.
And my direction right now is the kitchen cause I need some coffee.

Life is simple

Saturday morning and I just did 5K. So let me tell you something.

Running is simple. It ain’t easy but it’s simple. So it’s life.

All you have to do is put on your shoes and run. Don’t wish that you are alive. You are alive.
So just put on your shoes and run so one day when you are over there – I hope you can see the graveyard – yes, one day when you are over there you’d know you’ve lived this life.

I know, I hope it’s clear.
