SEO&Affiliate Sempro conference

Why attend the SEMPRO Conference in Ukraine?

There’s a lot to be said for taking some time off from your day-to-day routine and embracing the change of pace that an SEO conference brings.

In our busy digital marketing world, we often forget the importance of being in a live face-to-face setting with others from the SEO community.

Being active in the SEO community can bring with it many benefits. There is so much power in being connected to other SEOs online who are active in your line of work, however, these live meetings might be just what you need to uncover new ways to grow your SEO knowledge and business.

Let’s talk about one of my favourite SEO & Affiliate conferences called SEMPRO conference in Ukraine.

Why attend the SEMPRO conference in Ukraine?

1. To network

One of the main reasons for going to SEO conferences is to meet with like-minded digital marketers and industry peers. SEMPRO brings together people from all over the world with different backgrounds, experiences and especially ideas that you may not have thought of at your workplace.

2. To expand your digital marketing knowledge and find solutions to unsolved problems

SEO is always changing. Because search algorithms change almost every day, SEO strategies that worked well a year ago, might not be so great today.

We go to conferences to hear about new techniques, new SEO software, unpublished data, or learn from thought-leaders that have a lot more experience than us.

SEMPRO gives you the opportunity to talk to these digital marketing gurus one-on-one about what they are working on, and you never know they may even give you advice on how to enhance your own work.

“Watching someone you truly admire speaking on stage, absolutely in their element, sharing their experience can only serve to inspire you to take action.”

At SEMPRO at the end of every talk, you have the opportunity to ask presenters questions about their work and the rationale behind it, which you can’t do when reading journal articles.

3. To showcase your ideas and work to others

One of the more obvious reasons for attending a conference is to present your work to people from similar, related and/or completely different areas of study. First sharing your work will make you more self-confident and positive about the work that you do. Also, it may give you a new perspective about your work as people may ask questions that make you think about your project differently.

At SEMPRO, you have the opportunity to get feedback on your work from people who have never seen it before and may provide new insight.

4. For people to meet you

This may not be one of your important priorities but attending conferences is also a good way for people to meet you.

Regardless if you are the CEO of a digital agency or in the middle of your gap year, you may meet someone during the lunch break, in the exhibit hall or wherever and within a few minutes, you can link with someone that could dramatically impact your professional career. This is especially important when you are looking for collaborators or jobs ideas.

If fortunate enough to be invited as a speaker at SEMPRO you will get a chance to get your name and your work out there as you begin to establish yourself in your field of study.

If you gained knowledge, pass it on. It is never of any use to oneself.

5. The conference afterparty

After-parties and post-event receptions have become a common extension of many events, as well as an opportunity for brands to make a lasting impression on attendees. And trust me the SEMPRO afterparty is a special one.

In 2019 the main guest of the event “Potap” and his crazy team “Mozgi” brought the house down. Afterparties are about letting loose and having unscripted discussions and relaxing conversations with your peers.

Hint: don’t be shy; entertainment that might seem silly often turns out to be the hit of the night.

I know that we each have our own reasons for attending an SEO conference but my personal opinion is that attending digital marketing conferences dramatically amplifies both your professional and personal development, as well as providing you with tools and knowledge which you cannot be taught in-house or online.

If you have a desire to network with lots of like-minded people, acquire tons of new leads and discover some of the latest marketing trends, there are few better places to be than a marketing conference.
